Hello,

I've just tried your suggested link and just get a rotating circle, so it looks like I can't even get to my Mailbox Manager??

Thanks.

@Thunderbird2 Are you still experiencing this issue?

@Thunderbird2

Another user (RigaMortice) had a similar issue. He eventually resolved it by logging in to the Mailbox Manager (https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/myaccount/#/login), and then deactivating and reactivating the email account.

TalkTalk is fine, when there are no issues, but getting issues resolved can be a real headache.
Incorrect information on TalkTalk help pages is unhelpful.

@kanya-TT

You have inferred that send is working on webmail, but nowhere has it yet been made clear.

@Thunderbird2

Can you clarify this specific point, please?:

@kanya-TT , sorry I still can't see where they mention this, nor the quote you've posted. Have you been chatting via PM too and not just on this thread?

The only mention I can see is their post in response to mine they mentioned Mailbird too not working.

@Gliwmaeden2

That's what I am also waiting for, the customer must confirm whether they are able to send emails on their webmail, particularly because I have noticed more examples of such cases today.

@kanya-TT,

"Getting to" the emails is not the same issue. That just means that it is possible to sign in and read them in webmail.

I think we still need clarification from @Thunderbird2, that they are actually able to specifically send emails from webmail to be absolutely sure which sort of issue we are dealing with. There are quite a few such variables ongoing in the community!

Hey there, @fr8ys. On the customer thread, @Thunderbird2 has written. " Thunderbird not working, yet I can get to my emails with webmail." this would imply the issue is with Thunderbird not working but emails working on webmail.

@kanya-TT am I missing something here as I can't see the customer mentioning being able to send via webmail?

Is this happening when trying to send emails or reply to them, or are you not receiving mails either?

Have you received an email about Everymail?

Are you able to send if you log into webmail? Is there a red banner in Webmail?

Please confirm and if only sending is the issue please follow the instructions here and confirm.

Please post back once you have completed the required information so support staff can action for you.

Thank you

Hello,

The below, doesn't apply, I'm using a desktop Windows 10 P.C. I've also now tried Mailbird email client, that doesn't work either, on setting up it comes back with 'Authentification failed. This is typycally caused by IMAP being disabled on the server for your account.' As neither Thunderbird or Mailbird work the problem must be with TalkTalk server. Please investigate.

I'm assuming you have previously been able to access via Thunderbird.

How long has this been happening?

What device are you trying to access from? PC or phone?

Have you tried restarting the device. I had an issue on my phone which cleared once I restarted it (a force close would probably work too).

If that does not work, I'd suggest removing the account and re-adding it.

Hope this helps.
