It's been 3 months since I reported this to the Forum Manager and I have been chasing on a regular basis.

As it's intermittent and not affecting all users it's proving difficult to pin down, but I'm told TalkTalk are working closely with Microsoft and Google, as it's affecting them in the main.

How am I supposed to communicate to them if I only have their email address and any instructions to them are going into their junk folder? You are assuming everyone checks thier junk folders for messages - they dont!

I understand, that's exactly the reason I've asked you ask them to whitelist your email which will help direct them to their inbox. Thanks

The problem is with emails I am sending from my tiscali account not those I am receiving - emails I am sending are going into the junk folders of recipients accounts

You can do that if you have any emails going to your spam folders, they can just simply whitelist emails as @Mandisa-TT suggested. Thanks

Not sure what "please create filter rules for now to redirect your emails to the correct folder" means as I have no control over the recipients email client and even if I could forward this information it would go intotheir junk folder

Hi there @Malco2, I'm really sorry about the inconvenience that this must be causing you. Please note that this is still being looked into, please create filter rules for now to redirect your emails to the correct folders okay.

Obviously Talk Talk do not think this is a serious problem as emails still going into junk folders. There is no point in having an email account where messages are not received and unless Talk Talk resolve this in the next few days I will be looking to cancel and go to a different provider

As this is an ongoing issue, I raised it again with the forum manager who has confirmed it's an ongoing investigation but as it's not affecting all users it's difficult to pin down the cause.

In the meantime the advice from @Mandisa-TT is all that can be suggested to mitigate this issue, but it's difficult for you to know just who is not receiving your mails.

Hi @Malco2 Thank you for reaching out about the issue with your Tiscali emails landing in recipients' junk folders. This can be quite frustrating. Ask Recipients to Whitelist: Encourage your recipients to add your Tiscali email address to their contacts or whitelist it to ensure future emails land in their inbox.
