Unable to Deactivate email account on Talk Talk, Error message received

I need to deactivate this e mail account as I don,t use it anymore, but I keep getting an error message,  

  • RequestError: 400 ERROR_LAST_ACTIVE_REMAINING (The last active admin user cannot be deactivated - JSONException)
  • anysuggestions ?

Hi I,ve removed talktalk email from Gmail as a forwarding address that should do it thanks all.

Hi I dont use it but emails pile up in it, I suppose I could try and stop my gmail syncing to it ?

@Jiggy1 you can simply not use it.

 

If you ever leave Talktalk and don't set up an account with Everymail, your access to the address will stop after a month or two automatically.

Please use the steps below when deactivating your email address:

 

  1. Log in
  2. Select Mailbox Manager
  3. Select the mailbox you wish to deactivate
  4. Select Deactivate Mailbox to confirm
  5. A red DEACTIVATED badge will appear next to the mailbox user’s name in the Mailbox List
