Adding Legacy Email Addresses to My Broadband Account Mailbox Manager

Hi,

I am a current TalkTalk Broadband customer. I have 2 legacy email addresses that I need to get transferred to my account Mailbox Manager so they are included in my package. They were orphaned in the past, perhaps when I renewed my contract.

I asked for this to be done 8 weeks ago but disappointingly it has not happened.

How do I now progress this, please?

Please confirm if that email was a confirmation that your account with them has been cancelled.

Yes, I'm definitely unsubscribed. On 29/9/2025, Everymail sent me an email titled 'Auto-Renew Disabled for Your Mailbox Subscription'; and no payment has been made.

Thank you for confirming that my two orphaned email addresses are now linked to my TalkTalk account. When I log in to these email accounts, they still show as Everymail, rather than TalkTalk. I wasn’t expecting this. Is it correct please, or does something need updating? Thank you.

Please note that we linked your emails to your active broadband account, you'll have to add them yourself on webmail/app. Thanks

Hi, thank you for looking into this. I have tried before to add an email address to my Mailbox Manager but this only works when creating a new email. It isn’t possible to add an existing email to the Mailbox Manager. When your technical team links my legacy emails to my account, I believe the addresses should appear in my Mailbox Manager. Surely this is part of successfully linking the email addresses to my account?

That will depend on whether you had them signed in before or not, if not you'll need to add the emails to your mailbox manager. Thanks

The two email addresses are not yet showing in my Mailbox Manager. Please let me know whether they have been transferred to my account; and whether they should show in my Mailbox Manager?

Yes, I have unsubscribed from EveryMail, as follows: My 30-day free trial ends on 7 October, and I have disabled auto-renew. Please now go ahead with adding the two legacy email addresses to my TalkTalk account. Thank you.

Hi Phili,

I have now found an old account number, and added it to my private notes. I can’t remember whether the orphaned email addresses were created before or after the account number changed.

I have also unsubscribed from EveryMail, so please go ahead with adding the two legacy email addresses to my TalkTalk account. They are in my private notes.

How long will it take to add the orphaned email addresses to my account, please? And will I get an update when it’s done?

Hi there @gregt2 since you have an active broadband account with us, you need to unsubscribe with EveryMail on your side. Please list the emails on your private notes.

Hi Phili,

I had to sign up for the 30 day free trial with Everymail in order not to lose these two legacy email accounts. So yes they still work, but I want them transferred to my broadband account Mailbox Manager please, so I can continue to use them as part of my Broadband package. I should not have to pay for them while I am a TalkTalk customer. There are already two email addresses in my TalkTalk account Mailbox Manager so there are three spaces left.

Do you have my broadband account details? How long will it take to add the two legacy email addresses, please?
