I'm a talktalk broadband customer but ha e been stopped from sending emails, in spite of a recent lengthy phone call with talktalk. I thought the issue had been sorted

It will take a while to sort as there are many customers in the same position and the backroom staff are working through these.
If the person you spoke to or chatted with said they have passed it through for action, you will have to trust they have done so.
Staff here have no input in actually carrying out the procedure, and with the large numbers, it's probably not feasible to check.
