Unable to send emails

Hi,

I am currently a Talktalk Fibre65 customer and am unable to send emails. I had the problem resolved a couple of days ago through chatbot but today I find I can not send emails once again. This is very frustrating as this is the email account I use for my business.

I have requested to link my email  to my broadband account within my profile as suggested. Is there anything else I need to do? It is vital for me to be able to send emails to clients.

Talktalk please link my email address to my broadband account!

Hi Amahle-TT,

Thank you for your reply.

When I try to send emails from the Talktalk webpage it says, "An error occurred within the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request."

When I try to send from my android device it simply says, " Some emails weren't sent. These emails have been moved to the outbox. Open the emails to see what went wrong. Go to outbox"

When I go to Outbox it says "failed". When I open the email I can not see anything that indicates why it won't send?

Hi there @Irish_66, We are sorry for this, and we will get to the bottom of it. Kindly confirm what banner appears on webmail.

Regarding linking your email, I can confirm that the email address on your private note is the same address that is linked in your account.

Staff will be back on here from c 8am, @Irish_66.

 

They'll process the information on a webform that then needs to be processed  - it's been taking several days to sort out, there probably being no system sorted out previously for the problem that Talktalk and Everymail appear not to have foreseen. 

 

You may need to reach out to your own clients from a different email address for a few days  - there are many reliable free services out there that are not ISP dependent.
