I stopped receiving my virgin.net emails via TalkTalk last Monday. Each time I log into my virgin.net email account, I receive the same message in the Outlook Send/Receive Progess box:

"Receiving reported error (0x800CCC92): Your email server rejected your log in. Verify your username and password for this account in Account Settings. The server responded: - ERR (AUTH) Authentication failed."

My virgin.net email address and password log-in is being rejected.

How can I gain access to my virgin.net emails?

Hi pleasurebearx, if you're still a virgin customer you need to contact their tech support. If you're not they'll have removed your access to your mailbox.

Can we assume you left Virgin Broadband to become a TalkTalk broadband customer?

If so then my understanding is the issue is one to contact Virgin over not Talk as doing a google search  it appears that 90 days after leaving Virgin, they delete your Virgin email account. One such source for this here, but there are others.

If this is not the case and you feel it is a TalkTalk issue rather than Virgin, please post back with your thoughts.

Thank you.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.
