I log into my webmail only to discover how emails have been going into my spam folder. I have never set spam filters and do not want any of my emails treated as spam, so why is this happening?
It matters because I download to an email client handler, only the emails that end up in the spam folder do not download.
Thanks.

If You log into web mail right click on the email there is an option to add sender to allow list. it has worked for me, if you used an email client sometimes the email is missing you must be logged into TalkTalk webmail, hope this helps

Hi @PaulMcM If you want help, you cannot use someone else's thread.
To get help, you must start your own thread. To create your own thread, go to the main page for the board in question & click the "Start a topic" button.

So basically we're stuck with a rubbish spam filter we didn't ask for and can't turn off ?

Hi, @Dork45
Because, before any of your own spam filters are processed, the email provider, TalkTalk, processes its own spam filters, which are not visible to the recipient. Often, TalkTalk's spam filters are mis-programmed. So, sometimes legitimate emails, will end up in the Spam folder, and at other times, real spam emails will end up in the Inbox folder. There is no way for the recipient to change that.
On the the other hand, if you can find an email client handler that can automatically look at both the Inbox folder and the Spam folder, then everything would be OK

I also want to turn off the crap spam filtering which sends emails I want into spam meaning I have to remember to search spam as well as inbox which is a pain.
