Hi All. I keep getting spam/phishing e.mails with a "from address" always ending .buzz such as

*removed*

( I have put in the spaces either side of the @ )

The only common factor is the .buzz and so I have set up a filter rule that if "From" contains buzz the e.mail is diverted to spam@talktalk.com  but I was still getting them. I have even set up another filter rule on .buzz but still they keep coming.

Is there a 24 or 48 hr waiting period for the spam filters to kick in, or should I have seen a pretty immediate activation?

Why am I still getting these?

You didn't answer directly whether you used the command 'Redirect to'.

Also the address you gave, spam@talktalk.com,  is non existent.

I sent a minor test email to that address, and my email was returned, 'Email address could not be found'.

@Billx  Yeah the rule I set up sends them (supposedly) direct to the talktalk spam and I never see them

Maybe TalkTalk hasn't completely finished writing the new software, or tested it.

I, myself, haven't found any documentation to fully use the filtering capability.

To create a new filtering rule, I go as follows:

Login to TalkTalk Webmail > Click Cogwheel > Click 'All settings...' > Mail > Scroll Down > Click Rules > Click 'Add New rule'

Are we talking about the same thing?

By 'diverted to' do you mean 'Redirect to', under the 'Add action' button?
