Hi
I can't send emails and I just get a box saying there is a problem with the outgoing server SMTP. I use Thunderbird. I think Webmail is ok but I need to test it.

I have been doing more work on this and I am not convinced this is actually a TalkTalk issue. It looks like something has caused the SMTP mail server (outgoing emails) password to be erased in the email client. Putting it back seems to have resolved the issue. This will definitely be caused by the SMTP mail server problem affecting numerous customers up & down the country. I can see no point in @silvergirl needing to contact the full fibre helpdesk.

Webmail worked yesterday but there is still a problem because the Mail app on the iPad is also not sending emails but placing them in an Outbox.
