I am also a broadband user with old tiscali email address which I still use. Have put details on personal profile but had yet another reminder that I would have to pay £5.00 per month. How can I be sure that I will not have to pay and that email address will be still be active? No one has acknowledged my profile update or confirmed anything.

No-one would have known you'd done it if you hadn't just posted.
Updating your profile only gives staff here the info to process it. The instructions said to start your own thread.
They will confirm in due course.
