Had an email supposedly from TalkTalk admin saying they were disconnecting my outdated mailbox accounts. Had to click a link to confirm email is still active which took me to a Dropbox account set-up page. Is this genuine ?

No it's a scam. You need to change the mailbox password for a new never before used password and you should limit the damage.

No.
You'll need to run an antivirus / malware check, @JillT3 and change your email password.
