I am an existing broadband customer, and have been for many years.  One of my emails is no longer linked to my account and has been disabled and is being threatened with deletion.

Please can you link the emails listed in the private section of my profile to my broadband account and ensure that it is enabled

cannot log on to the account now.   The account was not able to send emails for a while before log-on was disabled.

I have seen information on line that for former customers (who are no longer talktalk broadband customers), service will be withdrawn in several stages (see below), BUT AS A CUSTOMER THIS SHOULD NOT APPLY TO ME - PLEASE REINSTATE THE ACCESS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OR FORWARD THIS REQUEST TO SOMEONE WHO CAN

  • From Monday 28 July, you'll no longer be able to send emails. You'll still be able to receive emails and log in to access existing messages.

  • From 8 September 2025, you'll no longer be able to log in to your account unless you sign up for the paid service.

  • On 31 October 2025, your email account will be permanently closed and all associated data will be deleted.

Okay thank you very much and please confirm if you are experiencing feature restrictions (i.e. unable to send an email) in the email account.

yes, after signing in, the account jumps to a sign-up screen where the only options are for paid subscriptions

Okay thank you very much for letting me know. Is the sign-up option available when you login to your email account?

no I didn't, but surely I don't need to as I am a broadband customer and according to all the information I can see I can still have up to 5 email addresses as part of my broadband package?  I only had 2, now I have just one linked to my account
