Hi all.

Apologies for not updating this thread.

It seems that the original password was corrupted and the recovery email was not set correctly, maybe a typo. Therefore no recovery link ever made it through.

Help line were able to reset the recovery email and I was able to get the link and reset the password.

So, you DO have an alternative email address set up for the email address in question, and you were sent the link to your alternative email address, but that link didn't work?

As I said said. The reset link doesn't work.

Currently on phone with help line so hope they can sort it.

To reset the password of a TalkTalk email address:

In your browser,

Go to the web address, https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/myaccount/?app=webmail&login=https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite#/forgo...

In the Email address text box, enter the TalkTalk email address

Click 'Send Reset Link'

If you have an alternative email address or a mobile phone set up for the email address in question, you will be sent the link.

I cannot log on to my second email address. Tells me there is a password error. I follow the reset instructions but no link comes through.
