@computerman1,

You posted about a similar incident back in December and staff reassured you that you have no reason to have anything to do with Everymail while you are a customer of Talktalk.

That thread is here:

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Email/possible-scam-email/td-p/3140791

Unfortunately, scammers are taking advantage of the issue of Everymail, or spoofing messages from Talktalk with increasing frequency.

Please follow @fr8ys's advice above - I had removed the information from your other post, in December, but the lesson was not learnt: never post what could be rogue links in any thread.

Gliwmaeden2, a fellow customer.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.

I have removed the potentially dangerous links. Iff you feel the mail is suspicious it's not a good idea to post links that others my click on and infect their devices.

The dear valued customer suggests it's not legitimate and I suspect if you expand your from email address it will not be a TalkTalk or Everymail one.

Please see here for more details if you feel it is legitimate.

Please post back once you have actioned if you believe your emails require linking.
Thank you.
