maybe i being stupid, but had been lead to believe that the email was still free if you have a broadband account with Talktalk.

But when i go to login it says that you now have to upgrade and  pay for everymail . Yet in help files it says its free.

Have posted about getting mail sorted under heading "Please link my email to my broadband account" back in september.  have been told it would be sorted in 48hrs 4 times now.(including phoning them)

any help would be appreciated.

@pat&son Thank you so much for correcting the error. I've escalated this for you, and your request will be completed within 48 hours on working days (Monday to Friday), as weekends are not counted. The escalation team won't reach out to me once they've addressed your case, but I will follow up with you on Monday.

there are only two addresses and have checked the email addresses, and there was a mistake in one it was missing an i . This has been now corrected. (my fault)

@pat&son Thank you for the information! I've accessed your account and can confirm that you have an active broadband service, so you do not need to subscribe to Everymail, and your email services should remain free.

Regarding your profile's private note, you’ve only provided two email addresses. Could you please confirm if these are your only TalkTalk email addresses? Also, double-check for any errors, as I'll be copying and pasting them as they are when escalating.

@pat&son just to confirm you are unable to use your emails at the moment because when you try to access it, it brings you to a page to subscribe to every mail?

Please provide a screenshot.

not sure what you mean by restrictions. But not able to access via webmail or imap. When access webmail it gives me the deletion notice and telling me to subscribe. Login to mail manager and it tells me to upgrade. hope this helps.

Hi @pat&son I understand your frustration, and I assure you that you’re not being stupid—it’s a confusing situation. To clarify, TalkTalk email accounts should indeed remain free for customers with an active broadband account. If you're encountering a request to upgrade to Everymail, that's not the experience we want for you.

It sounds like there may have been a misunderstanding or a technical issue affecting your account. I can look into your situation regarding linking your email to your broadband account and escalate it to ensure it gets resolved promptly. Do you have any restrictions on your emails at the moment?
