i am a member of the local camera club who use a round robin e mail address to send emails between all members.

occasionally i do not receive e mails although if another member replies to the original e mail i receive their e mail with the original e mail attached in the chain.

the main e mails i tend to not receive are zoom meeting invites.

my e mail address is obscured for customer security

i have checked the spam and junk mail folders are empty and i cannot find any filters that are applied.

thanks

Good to know there are no filter rules defined which means that there's nothing diverting mail from your Inbox.

Second good news is that Outlook for Android on your mobile is almost fully up to date. There is a minor update available to take the version to 4.2310.1 but otherwise that's good as Outlook for Android offers secure mail by design.

As for your continued use of Outlook 2010, if you continue to use that out of date inherently insecure software then TalkTalk will restrict your mail access to webmail only. This will mean that even the secure Outlook for Android will cease to function.

The free upgrade path is to use Windows Mail on Windows 10 or 11 or if your Operating system is Windows 8 or 8.1 or preferably 10 or 11 then download the free Thunderbird email software. Windows 7 and 8 are deprecated products but if still running this software then, for now, Thunderbird also is supported and because it incorporates TLS1.2 security as standard is secure.

I can see that emaildodo.com is listed by SorbsSPAM so it's apparent that a reason for not seeing all mail from that source is because it's known to send spam and any incoming mail may end up in your Spam folder or may not be delivered at all. Did you check the Spam folder?

There are no filters set.

I have tried sending myself a zoom invite from my wifes laptop and i receive this ok.

The e mail address i am having problems with is a group e mail from @emaildodo.com

and the sender is obscured for customer security

i receive all other e mails from these addresses just not the zoom invites.

At the moment i cannot afford to update my outlook 2010.

I half understand what you are saying

If i open my e mails in talktalk webmail the invites still do not appear neither do they appear in my android outlook on my phone

which is version 4.2310.0

please advise how to remedy this

thanks

Also heads up that on your previous posts you were using Outlook 2010 that does not support secure mail to the standards required by TalkTalk. TalkTalk are now sending notifications to mail users that continue to use insecure settings that their mailboxes will be limited to webmail only.  So, I trust that you have upgraded your email software?

The email addresses in your post have been obscured for security.

Check in TalkTalk Mail webmail to make sure you don't have an inherited Blocked Senders Filter.  Best to delete that if it's present.  In fact delete any filter rules, just in case, to troubleshoot the issue. Check the Spam and Trash folders whilst you're there although they will hold mail only for a maximum of 30 days.

Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail

Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address and password, select Sign in.

Mail not reaching the Inbox could mean there's a Filter rule that's diverting, discarding or blocking mail.

  • To check, select the Main Settings menu icon      triple line icon top right on the blue header
(Mobile browser? use the desktop version)
  • Select Settings from the top of the menu
  • Select the inward facing arrowhead by Mail (or Email) in the left side panel
  • Select Filter Rules
If there's no rule defined, that's perfect
  • To delete a Filter rule including any Auto forward
select the Dustbin icon    to the right of the rule
The icon background will turn red
  • To confirm you really want to delete this Filter rule
    Select the blue Delete button

Let us know what you find.
