Offered upgrade to fibre.
Foe me my 35mb is fast enough. Do i have to have a fibre upgrade, and if so how will they connect the phone in the kitchen as well as the one in the office.
Is it possible to upgrade just the router to faster fibre and keep existing analog phone line i have had here for 20 years.

For many of us we don't really necessarily want the fast speeds, but it's a matter of when, not whether we have any choice in the matter.
Occasionally copper is left for the phone, but increasingly not.
That leaves you with making sure that you ask for your number to be kept and VOIP must be included in the deal, @computerman1.
If you are given a Sagemcom Hub2, you can plug one phone into the back of the router, but no extension lead for the phone service through the house, so you'd have to have one of those digital phone sets to have more than one phone in your home.
