unable to access my email on my android phone or on my sons iphone but can get on my laptop

Hi

Im unable to access my email on my android phone and also on my sons iphone but can get on my laptop. This is for at least a week but maybe longer. 

Have spoken to a few reps on messenger and chat help on talktalk website but no advice given. Just that lots of people experiencing this.. Such bad service and I cant find much reference to it on here

Hi ChrissyM1, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for an email from us. I've no idea what the message of that email would be. Gondola is an excellent source of help on here and far more experienced with email than our frontline staff on the phones and chat. I'd trust in Gondola's expertise rather than wait for a mail from us.

Good luck waiting for that email from TalkTalk. As you've answered none of my questions I'll unsubscribe from this topic as you don't need my offer of help.

Thanks Gondola. I have just spoken to rep at TalkTalk. Tried all that to no avail. I am not only one apparently. All customers with this issue should get an email in due course! ( Will have to access through my laptop haha).

You don't say which model 'phone you're using or what its operating system is or how you're trying to access your mailbox so I'll have to assume that's via an Internet browser like Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari on the iPhone. I'll assume your 'phones are not too old and have up to date software. There are minimum requirements.

 

Do a full browser reset to clear history, cache and cookies. That action will also unload any extensions including ad-blockers and tracker blockers that are preventing the necessary save of cookies that are required as part of the authentication for sign in and use of TalkTalk Mail. If you need help I'll need to know which browser you use. Or if you use an email app I'll need to know which one.

 

Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail

Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address, select Continue and enter the password, select Sign in.

 

You'll be ok after those simple steps. There is an additional tip regarding auto logins because the auto login can associate an incorrect password so its worth manually entering the password to get signed in.

 

You can also just try a different browser that you may need to download from the Play store or App Store.
