problems with a few apps

My talktalk wifi to my laptop works fine.  For most cases, the apps on my phone work fine.  There are 2 or three apps, however, that seem to buffer and take some considerable time to download.  One example is BBC News.  If I turn off the wifi to my phone or use any other wifi then these apps work as expected.  It appears that it is a specific problem between the talktalk wifi and a few apps on my Android phone.  I have tried (on numerous times) to reboot the wifi and the uninstall and reinstall the affected apps, but it never resolves the problem.  Any Ideas?

Hi

A router is on the way to you.

Thanks

Karl.

Hello,

Ok thanks for confirming. Are you happy for us to send a replacement router to see how this compares and to rule this out?

Thanks

Michelle

My phone is a Motorola - Moto e13.  The OS is Android Go version 13.

As given before, the phone is fine on any one else's wifi . The phone is fine for most apps using my Talktalk broadband.  It is just afew apps giving the problem - especially BBC news and Emis.

Thanks for trying that. Which mobile do you have and which version of the OS is it running?

I tried your suggestion and I turned the router off for more than 30 minutes (55 in fact!), but it didn't make any difference.  What now?

Hi dougaldo,

Can you switch your router off and leave it off for at least 30 minutes, then switch back on and retest. Please let us know if this resolves the problem
