It would be profitable for both companies if Talk Talk tried to negotiate with Gigaclear to uilise their rural fibre networks as there must be plenty of customers in such areas that want to maintain their relationship with Talk Talk and get FTTP. Gigaclear would also benefit from the extra income. I for one am in a village where Openreach has decided not to implement FTTP across the whole village resulting in Gigaclear effectively having a monopoly where they have laid fibre.

I was making the suggestion not only for the likes of myself but as something that could help with the financial problems that Talk Talk is having. It could serve to both maintain current customers and to possibly obtain some new customers.

There's only so much that can be done at a time, @Abraxasknows.
All sorts of contracts at the infrastructure level, and some do retain a monopoly for a while.
