Bought this router the other day, can't for the life of me get it on the internet. Says it is compatible with talktalk. No internet light or DSL light. Would appreciate some help.

Did you get this working? I bought on too but cannot get it connected either. I'm beginning to think it's not compatible with talktalk or the openreach ONT

If the TalkTalk router works perfectly, why even bother with a 3rd party router. I cannot offer anything but generic advice on configuring other makes of routers, as I do not have them. You could try this:-

ISP - other

Type - VDSL

VLAN - enable this & use 101 as the VLAN number

Connection type – Dynamic/IPoE

If option to use broadband username & password – set no (TalkTalk fibre does not use this to authenticate with).

You may need to configure VLAN 101 as well.

Thanks Keith, I do have a talktalk router that works pefectly. Bought this router used the other day. Sorry I don't really understand much of this but it does state on the site

VDSL/ADSL DSL-AC88U Network cable (RJ-45) Power adapter Splitter DSL Cable.

My internet cable that goes the talktalk router is a RJ-11 Cable. I have fibre but I think I am still on copper lines.

I don't know what a VLAN is.

Do you have a TalkTalk router you could try temporarily, to prove that the Fibre is OK? Does this router have a built-in modem that is compatible with VDSL2 if your package is FTTC, or an Ethernet WAN port if Full Fibre? You will probably need to set up a VLAN as well.
