Can't Identify Your Router

I went to check my router was running as expected and received the message, "we can't identify your router or it's software version." What has happened?

@Ganger, if it's listed as one of these unsupported devices here:

....when you phone or Chat with an agent they should run checks and if there's a fault, they should replace it. If you renew a contract within 4 months of the end of your minimum term you can ask for a replacement with the new contract. If it's not actually faulty and you can't set up a new contract you'll be charged for a new router.

It is more than likely just a glitch with the system. If you have any specific issues then raise them directly with customer services, details are in the link at the end of this post.
