Do I need a landline for Fibre 35?

Hi - I have tried and failed to find an answer to this question on the TalkTalk site and via the chatbot. I am on Fibre 35, which I'm happy with for the moment. I still have a landline which we don't use for outgoing calls and is mainly just a pain with scam calls etc. Can I get rid of it and still have working broadband? Thanks

If you don't use/need the landline phone, then the simple solution would be to just unplug it. Your broadband will still work.

No, not it you are going to continue with Fibre to the Cabinet (copper to the house) as it's one and the same line to the house, @Paul_Wilts.

 

Only if full fibre (to the premises) is available, you can buy a data only package, but it's a new installation. It won't use your current set up from the Openreach master socket.
