Why do I have to reconnect my WiFi connection every time I turn my tv and eero box back on? Surely this should auto connect?

Is there an eco mode on your TV that turns the WiFi off in standby perhaps?
If you leave the TV a couple of minutes does it reconnect without your intervention.
My TV takes around 30 seconds or so to connect when turned on, as if I select an internet service it often says something has gone wrong so I have to close it and start again.
What's you WiFi strength like when connecting the TV?

Not turning the eero box off and leaving the tv on standby but every time we turn tv back on, we have a ‘notification’ to say ‘WiFi disconnected’ and we have to reconnect WiFi before we can use any apps.

Are you turning your Eero off when not in use.
These are designed to stay on as they can then receive overnight updates. They also connect quicker to devices as the signal is constant.
Likewise TVs and boxes are designed to be left in standby for similar reasons.
Turning them off can break the link and mean devices need to be reconnected.
