Not getting the Full Fibre spped I was promised

Hello I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. I have tried and tried to get help from Talk talk but for one reason or another after being passed round numerous people I get cut off.

I have had full fibre installed which promised speeds of 150 mbps I only rarely get this mostly struggling around 80- 100 mbps which is not good enough to play the online games I wanted to play.  I was offered a new router but then the process of being transfered to the correct department to order this cut me off.

Hello,

 

Thank you. Have you tried powering down the ONT and router for a full 30 minutes and then retested the speeds again?

Which make/model of router do you have? What speed do you get if you connect a PC or similar with an Ethernet cable directly to the ONT in place of the router. Are the speeds low on just WiFi-connected devices or Ethernet ones as well?
