The internet light on my Open Reach modem doesn't light up and I am getting persistent outages. I've reset the modem and the router but the problem has persisted throughout most of December. I've checked out local outages and none of them coincide with my issue. Cincidentally, an Open Reach engineer was doing some work over the road from us and he suggested getting you to send one of their engineers out to investigate the problem. I need this to be solved as I rely on the internet for work.
thanks

Hi Graeme,
I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault, however I can see a few re-connections on the line. Does the connection also drop if you remove the TalkTalk router and connect directly at the Openreach modem? If you'd like to go ahead with an engineer visit to the property then please can you confirm acceptance of potential time related engineer charges and also provide a few days availability AM (8-1) or PM (1-6) and we can arrange the engineer visit for you.
Potential engineer charges - We'll charge you if the Openreach engineer was unable to find a fault with your service or the fault was found to be related to a condition in your property or garden. Any faults related to your main phone socket may also incur a charge, as will issues caused by any personal devices connected to your line. You won’t be charged for faults caused by Openreach equipment.
Thanks
Michelle
