Openreach modem - Internet LED not on

Hi.

I have G-Fast 150 and an Openreach modem with four LEDs (Power, DSL, Internet, LAN).

All four LEDs used to light up/blink but currently, the Internet LED is permanently off. I first noticed this a couple of weeks ago but I'm not sure when it started.

I noticed several other users have reported a similar issue recently (within the last two months) but there has been no explanation for this in any of the other threads (and I think it is extremely unlikely that everyone's Internet LED has died at the same time):

I have no issue with my internet (it's fast and stable) but I was wondering what the underlying cause might be for the Internet LED to be permanently off (what, if anything, has changed recently?) and if we can expect the Internet LED to return at any time in the future.

Hi steven123,

I don't know what would cause the LED not to work other than it to have failed. If it's not affecting your service then I wouldn't worry about it but if you do start experiencing problems just let us know
