But you can contact the TalkTalk eero support team using 03451720074 then select option 6, they will advise you further if you insist on purchasing the eero instead.

Hi there @roy5051uk @Roy5051uk1 I suggest that you purchase Wi-Fi boosters instead.

Hi @roy5051uk

Please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number (TalkTalk Phone or Account number box )and, if possible, an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture and then clicking on "My Settings" followed by:-

Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.

I have been doing some WiFi analysis of this Sagemcom FAST5364 that has poor Wi-Fi coverage. The problem is not Wi-Fi interference, but poor signal strength and I think this customer would benefit from being sent the Sagemcom WiFi Booster. Would this be possible?

Hi @Roy5051uk1

Assuming that you have the Sagemcom WiFi Hub (FAST5364) and not the Huawei DG8041W, then using those two third-party boosters is not the best way to extend your WiFi coverage. They can easily make things worse. Please can you temporarily turn them both off & PM me a series of screenshots from the WiFi analyser that you are using. If it is an Android phone, then probably pressing and holding the Power button and the Volume Down button simultaneously will take a screenshot. This time, please can you get me these screenshots in a poor signal area of your property:-

  • The list of routers (or might be called APs).
  • The 2.4GHz channels.
  • The 5GHz channels.
  • The signal strength over time graph.

When you include them in a PM to me, please make sure that the Size parameter of the Insert Photos button in the toolbar is set to Large.

When I see these, I will make necessary recommendations.

Thanks.

HI @Roy5051uk1

I have had a quick look at the photos, there is nothing shown for the 5GHz band, is this because your phone perhaps does not support this band? Looking at the 2.4Ghz band, you seem to have a couple of other extenders, what make/models are they?
