Is there anything else I can do to resolve the issue where I have a white light on the router but no internet. As per the instructions on the help page -  A hard reset and/ or turning it off and back on again resolves the problem for a few minutes and then internet fails again.

Co-incidentally I figured this out a short while ago. I saw a TalkTalk tweet that said “We’re continuing to work on a resolution for this issue and have tested a fix to change and update the DNS for impacted customers. We’ll continue to test this and will monitor it’s success today” so took from this my router for whatever reason couldn’t access whatever dns was set - and as you said I changed it manually to the Google dns and internet been working ever since. Rather annoying as TT could have told me this days ago!

You could just wait until the morning if you are affected by this:-

Hi @StKi1da

That is the problem then, you cannot access the TalkTalk DNS servers. You can use Google DNS for now (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). Log into the router & go to:-

Dashboard > See internet settings > Manage advanced settings > Internet connectivity > DNS IPv4

Then change the DNS dropdown box to Manually Specify DNS. Then set DNS 1 & DNS 2 to the addresses above.

I did do a line test from their support website - which suggested the line was normal. The TT message on their support chat suggest that they "have escalated to the router manufacturer". As stated - rebooting the router results in getting internet for a short time before it again drops out after a few minutes. Who knows - at least it seems to not be just me - so hopefully they will be taking action regardless of what actually s causing it and what they are telling us!
