WiFi settings resetting

Hi,

 

 

 

I'm having a problem where I have set a device to not use 2.4ghz so that it uses the 5gh frequency but  the router seems to remove my preference each day.

I'm sorry for the delay. Is the upload speed still low? Did you try a few different wireless channels to see how the speed compares?

As soon as you did this my upload speed on the router side went to 1mps. Should that of happened?

What device is it? Have you split the SSIDs on your router? If so, then you should check your device settings to "forget" the 2.4GHz band in case it is otherwise connecting automatically.
