a few days ago i decided to change providers due to internet/wifi problems that Talktalk  don't seem to be able to fix.

so i took a contract with another provider. TT then phoned me and assured me that a new router would solvve the problem and i believed them ! so i took another two year contract .

new router arrived (same as  the old one  ) and service has got worse !.

i want to cancel withint he cooling off period . do i just take a contract with another provider  or is there another procedure ?

Cancelling within 14 days is mentioned here, @skygrowler:

While the one touch switch method should work for changing providers, you really do need to phone in to Talktalk [not on a Sunday] to make sure that they have registered the fact that this is within the cooling off period.

It may take a while to sort out your final bill, so keep the direct debit in place till you get a final statement for £0.00 and have claimed back any overpayment from My Account.
