@dinks isn't that what I said when you rudely called me a bot for trying to help you?
You will now have to request a returns bag if one has not been sent.

@Paulstewart The £5 you were paying was for the rental of the box as @fr8ys has mentioned, the box comes with pre-installed apps like Netflix etc. The £5 was not part of your Netflix subscription. TalkTalk TV only gives Freeview channels, and you have to purchase an ariel in order to watch that. If you don't return the box after cancelling the services, there will be possible charges as the equipment belongs to TalkTalk.

It's the generic name for the TV box, which gives access to channels and apps in one box.
Can't put it better than the AI result in a google search.

Which box have you got? If it's a 4k or the non recording Hub box, you are effectively renting it so will get a replacement if it goes wrong. It's never yours to keep, which is why I said you may be asked to return it.
If it's an old YouView recordable box, it's doubtful they will ask for it back.

Your box will continue to work. If it breaks though it won't be replaced.
This though may depend on which box you have as if its the Hub for example, TalkTalk may ask for it back.
