cant access dating sites?!

This is a weird issue. Ive always ben able to access dating sites via TT, but a month ago I stopped being able to. Ive contacted the sites and they have no idea, as well as trying different browsers. I cant even access them via the app through my wifi connection. I dont have an age filter installed either. Every site I try i get the following message:
This site can’t provide a secure connection
www pof dot com sent an invalid response.
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

I'm still not further forward and just discovered i cannot access, self help sites for dating either. Looks like I'm going to be isolated because of the Internet provider I have chosen. Not fair at all.

Hi returnofirv, I've seen nothing saying we've blocked all dating sites due so spam. We may have blocked email from them due to spam. Could you let me have the URL/s of the sites you can't reach and confirm if you have Kidsafe active on your account.

Yes I had this issue also, 5th attempt successful. you have to say to the automation 'talk to an advisor'. Then say its about 'home safe'. Very simple answers or it gets confused.

Just tried to call twice. The first time I got an automated response saying that they would look into my phone connection issue (I dont use my TT phone) and then when i called back they said they were already looking into my phone connection issue. Both times i said the issue was broadband connection....

Yeah, you have to phone them and they will send you out new terms and conditions. Will take 24hr. I do feel this is a breach of our rights, has not been made public, also the advisor didn't have a clue, after 30 mins she went and spoke to someone else who obviously filled her in.

Ha - that's very good of them I am sure! I can access via my phone and data but that is sub-optimal. So there is no way of getting it unblocked?!

Have just spoken to an advisor regarding this issue. They have blocked all dating sites as a broadband provider due to some phishing scams. They have restricted our access because of this, they have taken away our rights without even giving their customers the option or making it known.

Have you tried powering down the router for a full 30 minutes and then re-tested again as this will reset the current session?
