New talktalk tv hub, updated to v. 7.0.0. Freeview reception v. good; streaming bbc iplayer, itv-x channel 4 all v. good.  But, none of the data fed channels (250 upwards) deliver sound or picture.  Prog. guide info. is there. Tried reset, factory reset, router disconnect, hub disconnect - all to no effect.  Any offers? ty. artmech 2

They use a different technology to that which is available on YouView based boxes, so you will not be able to view them using the box. It is not possible to update the box to view these as it is a hardware difference, not software.

There are very technical guides on the internet that deal with this if you Google, but the layman's  explanation above is what it boils down too.

The channels are shown in the guide as the Freeview guide on which it is based is generic.
