This has been going on since the summer. I get notified by txt of an install date but I text message back the "more" option I then get a reply asking me to explain so I reply back with this --

I need a pre install inspection with an engineer before it can be installed as I will need to do some prep work depending on that the engineer says. If they turn up on the day without a meeting first then the install will not be able to be carried out on that day"

I then get a reply saying Thanks we will look into your question. Then a couple of days later I get a reply back and I am back to square one - "we have booked your date reply back with confirm or More". So totally ignored my question.

So this time I phone them and I spoke to someone on 25th Nov and explained. They said they can not book a pre visit but they will let me know when one is coming. Fine says I - lets keep the install date then.

Today I get a TXT saying We recently contacted you to let you know we are upgrading you >blah blah and then go's on to say -- Because we haven't heard from you we have cancelled your appointment.

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON I am stuck in a loop of them ignoring what I am saying. Its like nothing is getting through to them except answering "confirm"

Latest update I have rescheduled for the 10th via "reschedule" option, so I am assuming that this being the very last one I did ( not the other 4 that all came at once) is now the active one.

Can an Admin confirm this please. Because although I received an email confirming the 10th I still got this on the reschedule page so I am not convinced its done.

OH *@#][!![]'#[@#]!* - I have now received  4 txt and 4 emails  confirming ALL 4 of the dates that I tried and got this screen message for each time.

Looks like I am going to have to call Malaysia or where ever, to sort this mess out now.

Agreed.

Probably not a good time of year to be arranging something like this tbh. Chill out, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and see you then! 🎅

Will do, for now I think I will just leave to talktalk to come back to me with a new date and start all over again for the 3rd time. I did not want to try any nearer dates than the 16th to Christmas because I just know there is going to be an issue and I will be out of internet over Christmas

That last text is puzzling. Carry on trying, I guess?

Its just so frustrating when I have been in touch via txt and even spoke direct  and I have agreed the date then get a txt saying "  Because we haven't heard from you we have cancelled your appointment."

It doesn't seem the left hand knows what the right is doing.

I am not sure what more you are asking other than has already been discussed at some length in an earlier thread of yours. In truth, you cannot know what will be required until an installation team turn up. If you are unhappy with the options available at that point I guess you can just tell them you don't want to go ahead.
