There is a current faultly affecting some customers with Digital Voice (VoIP). The landlines are showing as not registered and in place of dial tone on the phone is a continuous tone like NU.
It is also causing a weird, quick light flashing between amber & white on the Sagemcom Wi-Fi Hub 2. When logged into the router, it shows the phone as not being registered.
On a Grandstream DVA, I would expect that the lights on it show that the phone is not registered either.
It is in hand with TalkTalk, please see the Service Status page for the latest information:-

EDIT: 26/05/2025 at 15:18 - My DV landline is now working OK, hopefully other people will start to get their service back.

Yes, some have working DV & some don't.
Rather than post this on my sticky thread, it would be much more helpful if you could post it on your own thread. That is because if the light is red, the router is most likely faulty. That said, its orange state can look a bit like red.

So it's not just me!! I've only been on Full Fibre since Wednesday and this happens. It looks like a widespread problem, and despite the escalated status they claim to have given it to the engineers, probably nothing will be done until Tuesday after the Bank Holiday. My router is showing what I guess is red light, although it looks bright pink to me. The wifi is OK so far. I so wish my old BT copper cable had not been ripped out. I've had the same message as the first one you had, but not the one about resetting with a pin. Honestly, I am nearly 78 and if I wasn't fairly IT literate I would just have given up by now. No one at Talk Talk seems able to do anything. I think it's a robotic AI thing not a person anyway, but it looks as though they have a big problem on their hands and are not admitting it.

Out of curiosity, is anyones Digital Voice working, seems to spread wide and far to me. The ironic thing is, for 12 years on the copper system, i lost my phone line for half a day. Within weeks on going onto Digital Voice it as gone. And now heading towards the end of my second day. Is this what we call progress lol.

Hello
I’m in St Albans same problem since yesterday morning, Sagecom flashing white then amber. Chatted to talk talk, they were no help, at the end of the call they then said the following.
on 25-05-2025 06:09 PM
I'm in the West Midlands, and all day the router has been intermittently flashing orange and white. This has affected my broadband connection. The dial tone on the land line has changed to a disconnected tone. Tried to log this issue, but was going round in circles with Talk Talk.

Thank you

@Tony54, just keep an eye on the Service Status Dashboard for updates about this.
If your own is not sorted when they post that it's resolved, you'd need to start your own thread for staff support, but they won't be on here till after the weekend.

I have just managed to contact the chatbot and "Manta" who says there is an outage in my area, Sheffield, and that the engineers are working on it. He says they have escalated the case with a view to resolving it as soon as possible. I will get an SMS once the issue has been resolved. Fingers crossed!

Hi all,
Please look at the Service Status Dashboard. I have even put a sticky about it at the top of the Home Phone and Full Fibre boards.

I only went on to Full Fibre on Wednesday and now my VOIP is not working! Same issues, continuous sound instead of dialling tone, message to check phone line, TalkTalk Chatbot sending me round in circles. Also my new Router is showing a red/pink light, not white. Broadband is working, thank goodness. What is the problem? Anyone know?
on 24-05-2025 02:50 PM
Yes @Sprspaniel#
That is the problem.

Presume so, @Sprspaniel#, if it's made it to Service Status Dashboard and there are no further details.
Staff will not be back on here before Monday, or Tuesday if they are observing the Bank Holiday.

According to the link posted by @KeithFrench earlier, yes.

We are in Leicester, East Midlands. Problem with digital voice landline. Unable to make or e
receive calls. Have spoken to useless Talktalk chat line, going round in circles with the same dialogue. Are these problems with digital voice nationwide?
