Eero6 router and Yale home security hub

Recently joined TalkTalk 150, who provided eero6 router which provides excellent WiFi. But I have tried plugging in my Yale nano hub 1 into it, but it doesn't work. Also I have a Hive heating hub, so need at least two ethernet ports whilst the eero6 only has one spare. Tried a splitter, which works with the Hive, but not the Yale hub. Any suggestions ?

Yale do not have a WiFi connected hub, only a plug-in

Hi @Michelle-TalkTalk

Yes, the workaround is to set a non-TalkTalk DNS in the eero router.

To enable a custom DNS requires eero Secure features to be switched off.

Morning Rob,

Can I just confirm, what happens when you try to connect the wired Yale device? Do you receive any error messages please?

@Gondola - have you ever come across this before?

Thanks

Michelle
