Engineer Installing Grey Box in the incorrect place.

Hi,

 

We had an engineer come over and install our Full Fibre Broadband (around 4 weeks ago), and they've installed the Fibre Box (the grey box outside) in a position which may prevent us from doing any future work to our property. We asked the engineer to locate the grey box at the side of the house to prevent any issues with doing future work to our property, but they did not. 

We tried calling and using the Live chat but was not getting the correct information we needed, resulting in this post being made.

 

If anyone knows anything about how we can move the Grey box outside, please let me know.

Did the engineer give a reason why they didn't/wouldn't put the box where you wanted it?

OK, this could be tricky. With the benefit of hindsight, it would have been better had you refused the installation and discussed it further at that point. Who was the installer? If you would like the support team to look into this for you make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk phone number and/or account number are complete on your community profile (click here) so that they can link your forum identity with your account and then wait for them to respond.
