I have seen this mentioned in other threads but not discussed in detail so thought it best to start my own.

Am I correct in thinking  that if your Full Fibre  router breaks or will not connect to the internet for some reason  but the ONT is is working and  the right lights  are showing green  you can connect your laptop etc directly to the ethernet port on ONT  and you will then have internet access through the ethernet cable while you wait for a replacement router to try, could someone confirm that is the case.

Ah OK. As long as it's the router that fails, rather than the internet connection as you say.

Are you having any issues with your router at present?

No my connection has been fine but it will be nice to know if anything did happen to my eero  i could use the ONT directly to gain access to the internet,  many people depend on their internet for work if they lose it at the weekend its going to be Tuesday or Wednesday before a replacement router can be sent to test having one working ethernet connection  would be a lot better than having no connection at all.

Why not try it I was going to suggest, but I then did a google search and the answer is yes, you can.

I will give it a try tomorrow and see if it works.
