Full Fibre installed in my street yet Talk Talk won't offer me an installation - 4 months & counting

Open reach installed full fibre throughout our village last year and we were told we were ready to go back in January.  I know some Talk Talk customers a few streets down who have now upgraded with TalkTalk.  My next door neighbour has upgraded with BT, yet Talk Talk tell me that I am not showing as ready for upgrading despite having had offers to do so from several other providers.  Can anyone help me with this.  TalkTalk have told me to wait a few months, and one person on Live Chat said I'm  probably on a different exchange to my neighbour, which I doubt.  In the meantime I am suffering speeds fo 50mb per sec at best on my 67mb line with frequent disconnections all day.

re your disconnections this can probably be sorted out but you will need to contact TalkTalk direct or run a line test within My Account  id recommend the former though.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.

This is quite a frequent occurrence when new infrastructure is set up.

Not all ISPs have access immediately, some have a contract with open reach to give exclusivity for a few months

The advice given is correct, you will need to wait for TalkTalk to be given the go ahead to start selling in your area
