Full fibre still not available to order months after Open Reach connection?

Hi,

Essentially, my question is, how do I get Talktalk to recognise that full fibre is now available to my house?

Open Reach notified me that they have set up full fibre to my house back on 26/06/25. Every Saturday since then I've checked the Talktalk site to see if I can finally order a full fibre package; every week it says the best available to me is the same fibre 65 package I'm already on. I'm desperate to upgrade because I work from home and this connection is barely keeping up, let alone the fact it takes 5 hours to download modern games and another lengthy download more each time they update.

Other ISPs like BT, EE, PlusNet, Coop, have all recognised that full fibre is available and I've been able to select packages with speeds of up to 910 Mbps. If I can't get it sorted out soon I'll have no choice but to switch provider.

I tried talking to someone via the chat, and the agent kept saying my house cannot have full fibre. I couldn't get an answer on how to get the availability recognised.

Thank you.

If Talktalk hasn't set up its own contract with Openreach in that particular area, @RLMCF3, you can't sign up for it yet through Talktalk.

It just depends on which ISPs have set up a deal in that location, and the service can never be offered ahead of the ISPs' own contracts with the infrastructure companies.

No dates are issued ahead of availability.
