I’ve been waiting over a month to get full fibre. I don’t understand why it’s taking so long. I keep getting told something different.

@Timshady49 if I'm reading this correctly the infrastructure to your flats is not yet in place and the next update from OpenReach will not be available until 6th May.

Reading this is doesn't say it will be available then either, only to check back for an update.

Appreciate this is not what you may have previously been led to believe but the infrastructure for flats is much more complicated than a row of houses in a street.

I suggest you post back here after the 6th and ask for an update.

I guess we are not providing it as yet. Hopefully in the near future will be providing it. I'm really sorry about the inconvenience it must be causing you, give it time and just check again okay. Thanks

It’s telling me that full fibre is available in my area! I spoke to an adviser and their telling it’s not available in my area!

Hi there Timshady49, we're really sorry about that but full fibre is not available in some areas, we are working on extending it though okay. As soon as we provide full fibre it should show using the link below, and for confirmation you can just contact our better value department, and they will advise you more on this. Thanks

There are often companies who have partnered with infrastructure providers and have contributed to the costs who get exclusive deals for a period of time.

There may also be other companies who supply or will supply  fibre in your area that are TalkTalk partners.

Unfortunately if TalkTalk say it's not yet available, then they are unable to supply it as yet.

@Timshady49 I have removed your duplicate thread to avoid confusion.

Availability can be checked here, as you now seem to suggest it's not available in your area.

Generally speaking, there are backlogs, @Timshady49.

The whole enterprise is behind schedule, having been given a deadline that looked good only on paper.

You won't be cut off all of a sudden with no options for phone etc, and the next theoretical deadline is early 2027.
