Gray junction fibre boxHello Team,, I was meant to have an engineer appointment today, to install FTTP, openreach. They have failed to arrive. I have phoned up your Call Centre. They have informed me that the work will now be carried out from now until the 11th of July, but, they have told me nothing why it’s been delayed, I have got a gray junction box outside my property. Picture below if I can work it out, I truly are flabbergasted what’s causing the delay. I’m a vulnerable adult,, and cannot be left without an Internet connection in case of emergencies contacting carers, parents et cetera, I have got a ADSL 65 at the moment. I live in the block of flats are four and the other members of my block have got fibre installed so what is causing the delay?
and I was here last year when the open reach guy installed fibre to outside my property. The cables were everywhere.

Just so irritating that I had to do the chasing and phoning up to see what the problem is, no one informed me about the delay or actually what is happening.
both you open reach failed to inform me that there is going to be a delay and and no one would be coming out today until I contacted a Talk Talk agent .
add to clarify The delay is a build problem, not in the internal delay caused by Talk Talk failing to pay open reach on time.

newspaper has claimed that telecoms giant BT (EE, Plusnet etc.) is allegedly in the “early stages of exploring a takeover” of debt-laden broadband ISP TalkTalk. The news follows only days after Openreachreportedly threatened to block the troubled internet provider from adding new customers (here) due to concerns over delayed payments.
Firstly, we’re going to assume that most of our readers are now fairly familiar with the roller coaster ride of events around TalkTalk, which last year secured a crucial refinancing package worth c. £400m (here and here) – saving it from the immediate risk of a default on its debts. Nevertheless, the ISP recently reported losing around 400,000 customers in the year (total of 3.2m) and, as above, has experienced a few disputes (here).

Hi @prescol I have reviewed your account, and based on the notes, it appears that an internal network issue is causing the delay. The agent you spoke with has escalated your issue to the Openreach Team. Your account is marked as a vulnerable customer, and I understand the importance of having your services connected at all times. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.
