New connection not working.

Just upgraded to fibre 150. 

 

Openreach guy came. Fitted new modem. New cable from pole. 

 

Modem updated. 

 

Connected erro 6.....

 

No internet. 

 

He rang openreach tech line to be told that there is no fibre coming to the house and it'll be 24-48 hours. 

 

What gives? 

 

Is this normal?

Did you not ask the Openreach guy for any further information? As it is an installation issue, I doubt that TalkTalk will be able to add anything much to the conversation at this stage.
