Since receiving my new router and full fibre my indoor camera does not work. Apparently because it is only compatible with 2.4 g. Is my router dual 2.4 and 5g or just 5g?

Hi @Benjiboy @fr8ys

If this is a Sagemcom Wi-Fi Hub 1 or 2, then there is a firmware bug in it where, if either band is disabled, despite what the UI says when re-enabled, it does not work correctly. The only way around this currently is to perform a factory reset on it.

You say that the camera does not work, do you mean:-

  • It will not connect to the router
  • You cannot manage it remotely (if that is a supported feature of the camera).

Which router do you have?

All have both bands, but how to turn off the 5ghz temporarily differs between then.

Eero you do via the apps troubleshooting. Other routers you do via the router dashboard.

Once you've connected the 2.5ghz device, you can then turn back on.
