I’ve had no internet for three weeks and cannot get any help from talk talk
my router just flashes orange at varying speeds
I innocently assumed I could phone up and get support - but you’ve “changed the way you do things” and it just sends me a text then cuts me off
So I try the hideous chat thing and that just leaves me hanging and no one responds
last week I got far enough that someone sent me a new router - but that did nothing - the new router has the same flashing orange light
how am I supposed to get any help !!!!!!!

Try turning the ONT and router off for at least 30 minutes then try again.
Have you tried a different ethernet cable?
What lights are on on the ONT and what colour?
Have you tried resetting the router using the reset button?
