I have no internet on full fibre. My home telephone is connected to the TalkTalk hub, also not working. Makes it very very difficult to get help or support of any kind. I have been trying all day to get support and reset equipment or line etc. currently still orange flashing lights on my hub and no connections. Considered buying a 3rd party router which is also beset with problems. May be easiest to just change supplier. Can anyone check my line?

Thank you for the direct number to call this helped a lot to dial straight from an iPhone. Finding contact numbers on webpages on a tiny screen I find difficult.

Thank you for the detailed information. Yes the 4th light which is indeed the Ethernet cable port is lighting up on or off randomly. It never crossed my mind to try another spare cable, however I did try earlier today once in touch with TalkTalk support and swapped the cable. This led TalkTalk to diagnose the router as being faulty. They are sending me another smart hub within 48 hours. I gave  in and purchased a TPLink Archer AX12 AX1500 Wi-Fi router from Argos as an emergency backup, online within a few minutes. Your help was appreciated.

"it has 3 green lights, sometimes all 4 green lights, the 4th flickering on and off randomly"

The LAN, PON, POWER on mine are always green as below the LAN light flashes constantly when the internet is in use, i have never seen the Alarm light, are the 3 green lights you mention that are always on the same as mine which is the fourth light that is not normally on?

Have you tried connecting an Ethernet cable directly from the ONT to a laptop or device that can use it  to see if you have a connection, i tried this when i read it on the internet and it did work.

When you connect the ethernet cable to your laptop it should automatically recognize the connection you should  see flashing lights on the ethernet port of the laptop.

Would you happen to have a power supply the same rating as used for the router you could try?

It may sound unlikely, but some customers have found the plug has developed a fault rather than the router that causes the orange flashing light.

Good evening,

it has 3 green lights, sometimes all 4 green lights, the 4th flickering on and off randomly.

The router and modem was switched off for a couple of hours. Has never recovered. I will try your suggestion for waiting 30 minutes again. See if anything changes.

What lights are on your ONT box where the line comes into the property?

Have you tried turning this off for 30 minutes and then retrying?

If there is an issue it may reset your session.

All support options are out of action at this time of night, @MajorBash67.

Make sure you phone in or use Chat with whatever means you can in the morning for a fault to be properly logged if that's not already done.

Staff will be back on here c 8am till c6pm during the day.
