Old Copper BT cable removal

Hi,

I have just been upgraded to full fibre - cityfibre came out and did theworks.  They installed a new aerial cable from the nearest wooden telegraph pole.

They did not remove the old BT copper aerial cable.  Therefore I now have 2 aerial cables from the telegraph pole to my house - the old BT one is no longer in use.  Who should I contact to get it removed? Should Cityfibre have removed it? thanks

If you'd like the drop wire removing (City Fibre won't as it's not their property) you could try contacting Openreach directly - Report damage, vandalism or a health & safety issue | Openreach
