hi, I'm moving over to the TT-supplied router and trying to get my Nextcloud service working.
DDNS is set up, and I think I have 80 and 443 port forwarding set up correctly but I cannot hit the internal server via the DDNS URL (but can hit it using internal server ip address)
was working fine on previous router, nothing has changed in the internal setup other than router swap.
protocol = TCP
external host = *
internal host = ip of nextcloud server
external port = 80
internal port = 80
protocol = TCP
external host = *
internal host = ip of nextcloud server
external port = 443
internal port = 443
is there anything obvious I'm missing? thanks

Hi @trisgti
@Michelle-TalkTalk has asked me to help you with this issue. Please can you confirm:-
If the latter, this will never work, due to NAT Loopback. Any traffic from the local network, that goes out to the internet & back in again is blocked by the router, as it believes it is a security vulnerability. The best way to test like this is to disconnect a smartphone from the router's WiFi & use mobile data.
